The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of some of Brisbane’s most complex and high‑profile civil structure projects. From major multi‑lane bridges to heritage assets, you’ll take ownership of projects from planning through to completion - balancing safety, quality, time and cost while delivering outcomes that matter to the city and its communities.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced civil professional who thrives in complex environments. You’ll guide high‑performing teams, manage significant capital programs, and work closely with senior stakeholders, contractors and customers.

If you’re motivated by scale, challenge, and the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on Brisbane’s infrastructure, this role delivers exactly that.

To be successful you will have:

  • proven experience delivering complex civil or bridge construction projects
  • strong leadership capability, with the ability to coach and motivate technical teams
  • solid project management expertise across cost, time, quality and risk
  • confidence engaging senior stakeholders, contractors and customers
  • tertiary qualifications in engineering and the ability to operate in a safety‑critical environment.

Benefits of working for Council include:

  • flexible working hours, and flexible arrangements
  • free gym and wellness centre
  • award winning superannuation fund
