Salary Range: (Band 8) AUD $150,432.00 - $162,791.00 plus superannuation and benefits.

Infrastructure Services Group (ISG) delivers Council’s asset management, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and transport operations. The Asset Management Branch within ISG is responsible for the strategic asset management of all of Council’s built and natural assets (including roads, stormwater, waterways, buildings, property, duct and fibre, parks and community assets) to maximise their value to the community in line with the Council's 2031 Brisbane Vision.

As the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Process and Systems Specialist, you will support the EAM process owner, ensuring that processes, systems, and reporting align with agreed EAM standards and governance. You will lead the design and transformation initiatives across the EAM value stream, enhancing productivity, user experience, compliance, safety, and traceability of EAM operations.

Bring your expertise in EAM to drive strategic improvements across Council. You will develop and implement strategies to optimise EAM frameworks, lead key improvement initiatives, and translate business requirements into practical, effective solutions. Partnering with IT, you will deliver efficient asset management systems, while overseeing the design and delivery of asset information systems in line with EAM standards. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance, influence stakeholders to adopt digital processes, to ensure robust data quality and governance to support accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.

This newly created role is ideal for someone with a strong SAP/EAM background who understands best practice in transforming EAM processes. This position offers the opportunity to build and lead a newly formed team, so proven leadership experience is essential.

To be considered, you will have:

  • proven leadership experience in supervising, mentoring, and coaching teams, with a strong record of guiding EAM initiatives
  • strong experience as a business analyst or consultant with ERP/EAM or complex technology solutions
  • proven ability to deliver innovative solutions and drive strategic change
  • skilled in designing and implementing integrated business processes
  • excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • strong communication skills, including presentations and reporting, and
  • ability to build positive relationships and strategic partnerships.
