The Role 

The Branch Coordinator provides management support to Strategic Finance and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a broad range of high quality proactive, administrative and business support expertise and advice. In this role, you will plan and manage activities to ensure services are efficiently and effectively provided to a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.  

This role has a specific focus on coordinating activities of Strategic Finance on a day-to-day basis, providing administrative leadership and management of correspondence, administrative processes and systems, and communication support for the branch. 

To be successful you will have: 

  • Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence. 
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and coordination support in a busy office environment.  
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal communication skills with a proven ability to liaise and negotiate with people at all levels of the organisational, including the ability to liaise effectively with service providers.  
  • Well-developed written communication skills to draft, proofread and edit a range of business and customer correspondence.  
  • Demonstrated high level skills and substantial experience in providing a range of proactive executive, administrative and business support services.  
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of effective administrative systems and procedures for providing quality and timely service. 
  • Demonstrated time management and organisation skills, including the ability to plan, organise and coordinate work to meet set deadlines and outcomes while dealing with a variety of work demands and changing priorities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret Council’s policies, practices and procedures.
