Transport for Brisbane operates one of Australia’s largest public transport enterprises to cater for the needs of Brisbane’s travelling public and visitors to the city. Through contracts with the State Government and private organisations we provide clean, convenient, and effective transport options on bus, CityCat, ferry, e-bike, e-scooter, and Brisbane Metro, our latest modern fleet of battery electric vehicles.
Our Branch
Strategy and Network Services Branch is responsible for a range of strategic and business planning activities, including the planning of Council’s evolving public transport network. This involves the development of service initiatives to accommodate future growth, embrace technological change, and deliver enhanced network integration.
The Role
The Network Change Program Lead forms a part of the Network Planning team that develops and implements evidence-based transport plans, policies and strategies to develop and grow Brisbane’s transport network.
The role is critical to the risk based, program driven coordination and implementation of changes to the public transport system in Brisbane.
To be successful, you will need to have:
- demonstrated project management skill that enable the coordination of multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines
- strong customer focus, understands community and customer expectations including demonstrated ability to apply this ethos to planning transport outcomes
- demonstrated ability to think strategically and support delivery of transport planning solutions that reflect the Brisbane Vision and organisational priorities
- experience in building strong working partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful customer outcomes
- high-level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce quality report writing and negotiation skills
- the ability to work positively and collaboratively within a small multi-functional work team.
