The Compliance and Regulatory Services (CARS) Branch contributes to the health, safety and amenity of Brisbane through a range of licensing and best practice regulatory services. These services are related to environmental health, land use and built environment, animal management, asset use and the natural environment, to maintain the liveability, vibrancy and accessibility of Brisbane.
About the Role:
Are you passionate about technology and systems improvement? The CaRS Branch in Lifestyle and Community Services, Brisbane City Council is seeking an experienced Business and Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member responsible for identifying, analysing, and testing systems and technology improvements to enhance business value. Additionally, you will play a crucial role as a business representative and subject matter expert for Compliance and Regulatory Services on system and technology upgrade and replacement projects.
You will also be a key trouble shooter using your skills to assist and support Branch and Council colleagues in keeping our devices and systems operating smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyse, and test systems and technology improvements.
- Act as a business representative and subject matter expert for Compliance and Regulatory Services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal business value.
- Provide timely support as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in related roles and a passion for this space.
- Demonstrated experience in systems and technology analysis.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on. providing clear instructions and reports to various stakeholders.
