Our Branch
City Safety is responsible for delivering a range of regulatory and compliance functions that support the safe and efficient operation of Brisbane. Our teams work in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, requiring strong collaboration, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Role
This is a varied and fast-paced role providing strategic and operational support to the City Safety leadership team. You will play a critical role in coordinating business processes, driving operational improvements and ensuring the successful delivery of Parking Compliance and Regulatory Operations Centre initiatives.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you will coordinate reporting, analyse operational data, support service delivery planning and contribute to the ongoing development of systems, processes and governance frameworks. You will also work closely with a range of stakeholders, including external agencies, while supporting onboarding, training coordination and continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- coordinating operational reporting and providing insights to support decision-making
- supporting major event planning activities, including parking enforcement coordination and resource planning
- researching and analysing complex issues and preparing reports, recommendations and presentations
- leading business improvement initiatives, process mapping and governance activities
- supporting implementation and readiness activities associated with new technologies and systems
- coordinating staff training, onboarding activities and business documentation
- liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service delivery outcomes.

To be successful you will have:
- experience coordinating operational, compliance, regulatory or business support activities in a complex environment
- highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- demonstrated ability to research, analyse information and provide practical recommendations
- experience preparing reports, briefings, presentations and business documentation for senior stakeholders
- strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- understanding of regulatory, compliance or governance frameworks
- experience driving process improvements and implementing new ways of working
- strong written and verbal communication skills.
