Compliance and Regulatory Services (CARS) supplies services which help make Brisbane a fairer and safer place 24/7. Our focus is our Community Value, and we engage with people across the City in a consistent, responsive way, making strong decisions to resolve problems and deliver solutions.
CARS is divided into four dynamic work areas, all working together to deliver compliance and provide the highest level of community value to Brisbane residents.
The Role
The Service Delivery Manager leads a team within CARS Branch. The purpose of the team is to navigate Council processes and ensure good governance for the establishment of new contracts; and to ensure contracts are appropriately managed and that Council receives value for money.
This varied and dynamic role oversees contract administration, evaluation and contractor performance. It ensures efficient delivery of tolling Penalty Infringement Notice processes and manages the debt management processes for the CARS branch.
To be successful you will have:
- a desire to lead by example and motivate a team to perform in a values-based culture
- experience in the successful use of data to optimise processes to deliver financial benefits
- exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills
- experience liaising with all levels in a professional manner to obtain mutually beneficial outcomes
- experience managing contractors and/or third-party service delivery
- ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
