Salary Range: Band 5 $98,778 - $111,969 + Superannuation 

(Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions and as of 08 October 2025)

Work type: Temporary Full-time

Duration: Up to 2 years (Extension/s thereafter but not guaranteed)

The Role

Brisbane City Council is seeking a dedicated Coordinator SES Support to join the City Resilience Branch. In this pivotal position, you will provide essential coordination and support to the SES Support Group, operating autonomously and upholding a culture of performance excellence. By utilising your strong communication skills and commitment to excellence, you can play a vital role in supporting emergency services and building a resilient community for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • coordinate and support the SES Support Group effectively
  • operate autonomously and maintain a culture of performance excellence
  • provide high-quality communication and administrative support
  • contribute to building a resilient community through emergency service support while navigating dynamic and challenging stakeholder relationships.

To be successful you will have:

  • strong experience in navigating key stakeholder relationships within dynamic environments
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and maintain performance excellence
  • proven track record in providing high-quality administrative support
  • commitment to supporting emergency services and building resilient communities.
