City Standards provides high quality and value-for-money civil construction, maintenance and services to Brisbane ratepayers. With over 1800 employees, the work undertaken by the City Standards teams plays a big part in enhancing Brisbane's liveability. 

Program, Planning and Integration, a critical branch of Brisbane's Council, is the backbone of ensuring that the city's assets are well-maintained and offer residents and visitors opportunities to explore and enjoy the city. With functional lines spread across the city, the branch plans for the development, maintenance, and growth of a range of Council's assets, including roads, structures, drain network system, parks, natural areas, and park and street trees.

 

The Role

A temporary position as an Outcome Coordinator Road Corridor (north) is open within our Program Planning and Integration team. As the Outcome Coordinator, you will provide various services to assist with ensuring that Brisbane's Road Network assets are fit-for-purpose and well utilised for an inclusive user experience.

To be successful you will have:

  • high level verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with and influence groups and individuals at all levels in the organisation
  • extensive experience in civil/road corridor asset management, including a proven ability to coordinate the implementation of high level asset management outcomes for a large region of the city
  • demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the development and coordination of asset condition audits as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting of progress
  • demonstrated experience in preparing project scope and estimates for consideration and inclusion in capital, and recurrent schedules and programs.
  • experience in initiating, implementing and managing business improvement projects and processes that improve infrastructure management across Council.
