Our Branch
Information Services Branch (ISB) delivers digital and information technologies to maintain and enhance Council’s information, processes and systems, and enable data driven insights to improve decision-making and customer experience.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Business Analyst to join our Information Services Branch. In this role, you'll lead business analysis activities that help deliver innovative, customer facing, ICT solutions to complex business challenges across one of Australia's largest local governments.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, define business needs and help deliver solutions that create value for the organisation and the community
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience leading business analysis activities and guiding small teams of business analysts
- exceptional communication, facilitation, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- advanced understanding of end-to-end customer and case management processes, including customer-facing digital channels, CRM platforms, integrated applications and the supporting downstream systems and operational processes
- experience evaluating tender responses and contract documentation
- strong relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships across business areas, operational teams, project teams, technical specialists and vendors to support the successful delivery of change
- ability to understand organisational needs, identify opportunities for improvement and propose practical solutions considering end-to-end impacts across customer experience, business processes, systems, data and operational teams
