The Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Branch creates value by protecting people, supporting operational performance and enabling organisational resilience through effective risk management, safety leadership, fitness for work programs and environmental stewardship.

 

The Role

The Health Safety & Environment Security Data Analyst provides analytical and reporting support across core functions to enable data informed decision making, performance monitoring and compliance reporting.

In this role you will maintain data integrity, produce routine and ad hoc reports to support the continuous improvement through analysis of trends and performance insights.

We are looking for a dedicated data analyst who can build and improve existing reporting to continually improve insight of Public Transports Services health safety environment and security aspects. You will build connections and work collaboratively across the group to continually improve effective reporting and analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data analyst to demonstrate their capability and make a real difference in Public Transport Services group and to the people of Brisbane.

In this role you will:

  • provide maintenance of established key service performance reports
  • generate and maintain documentation
  • consult with stakeholders and provide accurate data and reporting analysis
  • deliver effective ad-hoc, scheduled and self-service data analysis
  • contribute to delivering continuous improvement of data and reporting knowledge and documentation
  • build and maintain positive working relationships across the group to share knowledge, information and skills. 

To be successful you will have:

  • experience in delivering effective data analysis and reporting solutions
  • demonstrated knowledge of core reporting systems, data definitions and related technical infrastructure
  • demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct research, analyse and assess options
  • well-developed interpersonal skills
  • demonstrated ability on relevant data management and software systems.
