In addition, you will have effective leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to deliver outcomes. Working in an agile environment, you will need to be comfortable with competing priorities.
You will manage an established team to achieve outcomes and ensure compliance in decision making against the legislation.
There is a requirement that you will be able to be registered as a claim’s decision maker with the Regulator and provide advice on complex claims to the team and organisation. Preferably you will be registered as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator and have knowledge of data system requirements for self-insurance and ensuring compliance with Regulatory reporting requirements.
To be successful you will have:
Excellent knowledge and proven experience in claims management, claims administration, workers’ compensation self-insurance operations, and the ability to apply and interpret Queensland workers’ compensation legislation and regulations.
