Our Business
Public Transport Services help keep our city moving. Whether by bus, CityCat or ferry, e-bike or e-scooter, and Metro, our group manages bus contracts with TransLink, ferry, e-mobility scheme and personalised public transport operators, that enable us to support the transport choices of Brisbane residents and visitors.
Our Branch
Transport Operations is responsible for delivering bus network services from eight bus depots and performing bus network coordination and control through the Network Coordination Centre.
The Role
This is the role you have been waiting for, your opportunity to lead one of Australia’s most technologically advanced depots, managing the future of improved high-capacity transportation options whilst launching a new era of connected travel as Manager, Rochedale Depot. You will drive with energy and direction, managing the strategic and operational oversight of our newest state of the art depot. Leading with passion, you will champion continuous improvement delivering Brisbane Metro. This synergetic executive role plays a pivotal role for the way forward, connecting our city, linking suburbs, and overseeing Metro services. Displaying the highest standards of professionalism and contemporary forward thinking, you will ensure all operational depot activities executed to deliver network plans and services, aligning to expectations of a diverse range of stakeholders. You will enjoy a close-knit, values-based work culture, delivering initiatives in a dynamic environment.
As an impactful and collaborative executive, you will bring a proven record in transportation operational improvements delivering outcome focused projects to drive efficiencies within Transport for Brisbane. A strategic leader, you will work supportively across all depots, displaying One Council positivity, achieving best community outcomes, service, economic prosperity, and innovation. Contributing to business planning, analysis and reporting activities you will ensure robust governance and performance excellence.

- proven leadership in transportation
- track record in process improvement and driving efficiencies
- contribution in leading transformative business changes
- proficiency in planning, progress monitoring, and identifying improvement opportunities
- direction in governance, risk management, quality assurance, and cost control
- background in promoting zero harm, ensuring workplace and customer safety
- accomplishments in developing business plans and overseeing projects to meet budget, timeline, and quality standards
- proven expertise in building high-performance teams, modelling a culture that prioritises respect and wellbeing, whilst managing workforce planning.
