Our Branch
The Business Engagement and Performance Branch operates across Council as a strategic partner and standard-setter, empowering the organisation to deliver exceptional community and organisational value through enterprise strategy-to-execution alignment, good governance, and service and process excellence. The branch builds Council’s capacity to manage performance, portfolios and change to deliver desired outcomes for the city and adapt to future demand and growth.
The Role
As the Senior Business Analyst in the Strategy, Policy and Reporting section, you will lead and promote best practice business process and performance improvements projects to achieve optimum outcomes for Council and the community.
A core part of the role is building, maintaining and leveraging strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners and communities of practice across the organisation. Through these trusted relationships, you will enable effective knowledge sharing, co‑design fit‑for‑purpose solutions and support successful project delivery. Your ability to interpret complex information, translate insights into practical improvements and influence outcomes will be critical to delivering sustainable benefits for Council and the community.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience in fostering an agile workforce, through coaching, mentoring and day-to-day guidance
- significant experience delivering innovative process improvements and implementing change in a large, complex organisation
- strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.
