Our Business
Corporate Services support, equip and help guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.
Support Services is a centralised service providing essential support to all areas of Council.
The Role
As a Senior Administration Officer, you provide high-quality administrative support while coordinating daily operations and acting as an escalation point for complex matters.
In this role you will:
- coordinate day-to-day administrative activities across the team
- act as an escalation point for complex customer and operational issues
- provide guidance and support to administrative team members
- ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned to KPIs
- contribute to process improvements and efficient work practices.
To be successful you will have:
- experience delivering high-quality administrative and business support
- ability to coordinate work and guide team members
- strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- sound problem-solving and analytical capability
- ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- confidence using systems and adapting to new technologies.
