Information Services branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible, and innovative ICT solutions. We lead the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council. 

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Program Coordinator to support the delivery of a large, complex Customer & Digital Program spanning multiple projects concurrently. You will provide critical coordination, advice, governance, and delivery support across a diverse digital portfolio that directly impacts customers across Brisbane. The program includes customer-focused digital platforms and technologies, including web and mobile applications, online booking and payments systems, customer portals, and emerging digital technologies.

The role plays a key part in bringing multiple projects and initiatives together into a unified, customer‑centric digital platform, leading coordination across projects, supporting adherence to Council project and program methodologies, managing risks, issues, and actions, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, and producing high‑quality governance, reporting, and executive presentations that contribute towards successful delivery of the program, project goals and objectives.

To be successful you will have:

  • demonstrated experience in a Project Coordinator or Program Coordinator role, preferably within digital, technology, or customer‑focused environments
  • proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously within a structured program or portfolio, providing high quality advice on planning, scheduling, and risks & issues management
  • proven ability to build strong relationships, influence effectively, and motivate others to achieve key work priorities
  • highly organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, complex environment
  • proven ability to operate effectively in environments characterised by change and competing priorities, adjusting approach as required to meet shifting program and project needs.
