·      Maintain master data records in SAP for use throughout Council

·      Liaise with external vendors and internal customers to facilitate and validate master data records

Data and Information Insights is part of Information Services. We enable timely insights and business results based on high quality data enabling people to make better decisions, take action and deliver Council’s goals. Our service delivery is based on efficient, standardised and integrated processes using existing systems. ​

This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dedicated team and has a strong compliance focus ensuring, at all times, systems and processes are adhered to. The position is suited to someone with experience and ability maintaining quality master data within SAP environment and will have the responsibility for maintaining master data records to optimise effective sourcing of materials and services by users throughout the Council. 

To be successful you will have:

  • experience maintaining (create, modify and retiring) master data records
  • ability to assess all master data maintenance requests and identify any potential impacts
  • experience to ensure all master data processes comply with the auditing requirements
  • experience to ensure all master data records comply with business processes, business rules and Council’s standard naming conventions
  • demonstrated experience in the application of master data principles
  • well-developed written and interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience contributing to a team
  • knowledge of the Council’s computer system SAP master data management and Ariba modules (highly desirable).

This role will require a Criminal History Check.
