The Role
Our Bus Garages are staffed 365 days a year with staff working a nine-day fortnight on a Monday – Friday roster and the ability to do additional paid overtime (before or after rostered hours) and optional weekend work. Our Bus mechanics enjoy a safe, supportive environment with the potential to earn over $130k/year, with overtime.
- perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on a variety of our buses
- fault finding, diagnosing and repairing problems as required
- maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems
- repair tasks such as parts replacement, rebuilding, and adjustments to keep our fleet operating at optimum levels.
To be successful you will have
- hold a trade certificate Level III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technology
- hold a C class licence
- ability to diagnose & fault find mechanical and electrical problems
- ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
You will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment to assess your ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the role.
