3IC / Assistant Centre Manager

Oxanda Education is seeking an experienced 3IC with a strong background in Early Childhood Education to support the day-to-day operations of our service and help lead a team of dedicated educators to deliver exceeding education and care.

About the Role
As the 3IC / Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager and Operations Team to:
• Oversee daily centre operations
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of educators
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS), company policies, and service philosophy
• Support curriculum, planning, and educational leadership across all studios
• Maintain strong communication with families and the wider community
• Contribute to business decisions, organisation, and centre management
• Uphold and model Oxanda Rituals and expectations of an exceeding service
Key Competencies
• Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance, and regulations
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of business and centre management
• Leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
• Curriculum and planning experience
• Passion for delivering high-quality early learning programs
• Strong focus on family relationships and communication
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• A proven ability to inspire a team to achieve excellence
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role
Essential Criteria
• Diploma in ECEC or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
• Current Working with Children's Check.
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis or be willing to obtain these.
• Current Child Protection, Safe Sleep, and Food Safety Training or be willing to obtain these.
• Ability to work as part of a management team and independently.
