The Role

We are looking for a productive and safety-focused Warehouse Supervisor to lead our supportive team at our Mt Isa site!

Leading from the front, your efforts in pick/pack, dispatch, inventory control and administration will be crucial to the smooth running of the site. This role is ideal for someone with previous exposure to warehousing who is looking for consistent reliable work within a great team.

This is a permanent, full-time Mon to Fri fixed roster opportunity and will be based onsite at the Blackwoods Mount Isa located on Traders Way, Mount Isa City.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deploy resourcing accordingly to ensure daily/weekly/monthly targets are met
  • Nurture a culture of safety within the team in line with WHS practices
  • Support and manage the operational flow through the warehouse to minimise delays and impacts
  • Support with recruitment activities for your team including onboarding and induction to site

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a warehousing environment is highly regarded
  • Clear communication manner - both written and verbal
  • Awareness of safety standards - acting comfortably within toolboxes and giving standups
  • Positive work attitude and ability to promote a healthy work environment through leading
  • Values in line with Blackwoods as an organisation
