YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This is a highly visible, end‑to‑end leadership role for an experienced Operations Manager who is ready to take full ownership of a Distribution Centre (DC) within our national network and play a key role in shaping its future.

We’re seeking a strong, credible people leader to lead our Greystanes DC through high‑volume demand, while also driving meaningful transformation over the coming years. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning day‑to‑day warehouse performance, while working closely and collaboratively with our sales teams and customers to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Beyond BAU excellence, this role will be instrumental in optimising productivity, uplifting capability and supporting the implementation and optimisation of systems and processes. It’s a rare opportunity to lead today’s operation while influencing tomorrow’s design.

Working with your leadership team, you’ll oversee a workforce of 40–60+ employees, scaling safely and effectively through peak periods, while building a resilient, future‑ready operation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Full operational ownership of the Distribution Centre, with accountability for safety, service, cost and productivity outcomes
  • Leading a high‑volume, driven warehouse operation, including planning and execution through peak and surge periods
  • Operating autonomously while partnering closely with internal teams to align operational capability with customer expectations
  • Balancing BAU delivery with strategic improvement, ensuring day‑to‑day performance remains strong while change is executed effectively
  • Leading and contributing to transformation initiatives, including productivity optimisation, process redesign and automation
  • Managing labour models, cost control and operational performance to consistently achieve KPIs and financial targets
  • Coaching and developing warehouse leaders to confidently lead large, diverse and often variable workforces
  • Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with Work Health & Safety standards
  • Building an inclusive, respectful and high‑performance culture where teams feel supported, engaged and accountable

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience leading operations in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing or similarly complex environments
  • Demonstrated success managing seasonal peaks, variable labour models and operational complexity
  • Proven ability to run BAU operations while also informing strategy and leading projects or transformation initiatives
  • Strong leadership presence, with the confidence to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally, particularly with sales teams and customers, to deliver shared outcomes

What's In It For You:

  • Exclusive Perks: Team Member discount card for Kmart, Bunnings, Target & Officeworks, FREE One Pass subscription & other discounted offers from over 400 retail partners!
  • Continuous training and career development opportunities
  • Team events, celebrations, award recognition and prizes
