Your Opportunity

In this Technical role, you will be working alongside the Sales Team/Account Managers in providing customer facing technical expertise and support to deliver tailored offerings and innovative solutions to our customers. In this role, you will support and champion a portfolio of welding and abrasives products.

Some of the tasks:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with both existing and new customers/suppliers through delivery of technical expertise and customer value
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of sales support for product; from identification/development to delivery of customised solutions
  • Manage and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, utilising CRM systems, while providing key market insights and performance reports
  • Equip our sales and customer service teams with comprehensive product knowledge and training
  • Assist with quote and tender responses, including expert product recommendations.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives

Some of the skills:

  • Previous experience with welding and abrasives products
  • Experience in Sales environment
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to deliver exceptional results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build productive working relationships
  • Ability to engage customers face-to-face and providing tailored technical solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in CRM systems preferred
