YOUR OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking an experienced OCR Project Manager to join our team based in Sydney on a 12-month fixed term contract and lead the delivery and expansion of our OCR program for Blackwoods. They require experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition / Sales order automation). The role is based in Macquarie Park (preferred), but we're open to other locations for the right candidate! 

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are met on time and on budget, whilst leading and guiding a small team to ensure commercially advantageous priorities are addressed in line with stakeholder expectations. 

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Managing our OCR program and sales order automation in collaboration with the Blackwoods Sales and customer care teams 
  • Establishing and driving customer care engagement and sales teams, cadences/routines, conducting requirements gathering and supporting and driving all testing activity to delivery 
  • Organising multiple projects, setting priorities and keeping the programme on track . The OCR program has a number of key KPI’s to meet and grow 
  • Providing work-in-progress status updates and proactively keeping stakeholders informed 
  • Supporting the team to develop standard operating procedures for Customer EDI and OCR processes 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing an OCR program. Will consider eCommerce platforms or ERP integration, experience. 
  • Good understanding of OCR and Punch-out related standards and IT and eBusiness applications. Experience with Dynamics ERP is a bonus! 
  • Exceptional communication, group facilitation/presentation and stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong business analyst/project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience running sprints. 
  • Hands-on, organised, accountable, adaptable and adept in managing conflicting priorities 
  • Experience with sales order automation is a must 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment with a sales and customer orientation
