The Role
Blackwoods is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team and drive operational excellence across our Mt Isa Trade Store & Warehouse!
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving warehouse performance, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes. Managing a team of approximately four team members across two sites, you will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, safe work practices, and strong commercial results.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity on a Monday to Friday roster, based at our Blackwoods in Mount Isa City QLD.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a warehouse team of 4 team members
- Allocate resources effectively to achieve daily, weekly and monthly operational targets
- Drive a strong safety culture, including facilitating toolbox talks, safety stand-ups and WHS initiatives
- Oversee inventory management activities including cycle counting, stock allocation, stock rotation and inventory accuracy
- Investigate stock discrepancies and operational issues, providing timely solutions and clear communication to customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate warehouse operations including receiving, pick/pack, dispatch and inventory control to ensure service levels are achieved
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a customer-focused approach
- Understand and manage the impact of logistics and warehouse operations on commercial performance
About You
You will have:
- Previous experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment (multi-site experience is highly regarded)
- Strong inventory management experience, including cycle counting, stock allocation, stock rotation, and inventory control processes
- Proven ability to investigate discrepancies, analyse information and resolve issues effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, including leading toolbox talks and safety initiatives
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- A positive leadership style with the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Understanding of how warehouse and logistics performance contributes to broader business and commercial outcomes
