Storeperson - Casual - Mackay QLD

Our Mackay warehouse is full steam ahead at the moment and due to an increase in business needs we are hunting for a new Casual to join our team! 

This is a perfect opportunity to kick start your long-term career in a Wesfarmers business. We have lots of hours available across all start times in our operation between 6am to 9pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking casual flexibility. Whether you’re looking to work 4 hours per week, 20-25 hours, or anything in between, we’ve got you covered! Join us and tailor your work schedule to suit your needs. 

We are hiring quickly, with interviews starting in the next week or two, and an immediate start for those that are successful. Previous applicants for our Storeperson roles are also encouraged to apply. 

You must have full time unrestricted work rights in Australia to be considered.

What your new role entails:

• Picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders
• Receiving, labelling, and storing of incoming goods
• Conducting, sorting, loading, and unloading of vehicles 
• Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
• Forklift operations within the warehouse where required

What you’ll bring with you:

• Previous warehousing experience within receiving, pick, pack and/or dispatch
• Good communication skills, a great work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Forklift Licence and/or high reach experience an advantage
• A customer service mindset and the ability to work well in a team
• Experience with computer systems and/or RF handsets highly regarded
