In this role, you will work closely with the Sales, Customer Service, and broader Pricing Teams to support better decision making through analytics and data. As the Senior Analyst, you will leverage your skills through insightful to optimise profitability, volume and margin growth with a focus on broader continuous improvement.

About the role:

  • Deliver the overall pricing strategy with business and customer in mind
  • Act as an SME on tool usage and pricing data sourcing to support stakeholders
  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide sell price advice
  • Advise relevant business groups on the commercial outcomes of customer deals
  • Participate in high-level negotiations, meetings, and tender responses to ensure deals are profitable and commercially sound
  • Optimise trading profit from buy price to sell price
  • Work with the team to analyse product categories for profit enhancement opportunities and determine optimum price position
  • Provide support and mentorship as required to other members of the team

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Commercial or Pricing role
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, mathematics, or data analytics
  • Competency to adhere to predetermined timelines
  • Capability to be exposed to and handle large data groups
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and bring people on a journey
  • High level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in PowerBI, SQL, or Python highly regarded

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based onsite at the Blackwoods National Support Office, Macquarie Park.
