The Opportunity

As a VMI Facilitator, you will be at the forefront of our customer centric approach. This hands-on role will see you supporting our key customers with vendor managed inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at the right time to meet service agreements. Being on the ground with our key customers will give you the opportunity to partner with the Account Managers and Sales Team to identify avenues to further grow our portfolio.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based from Blackwoods Singleton. Given the nature of this role, there is the requirement to travel between customer sites with travel times of approximately 2 hours one way utilising a tool of trade vehicle.

Note: As part of the recruitment process and commitment to safety, there will be a pre-employment medical (including drug + alcohol screening) to meet the requirements for access to customer sites.

Some of the tasks of the role:

  • Support with vendor managed inventory for key customers
  • Pick and pack relevant orders as required from the branch for customers
  • Identify new and slow-moving product with customers and refer to the Sales Team
  • Foster ongoing relationships with customers and act as first point for product queries
  • Conduct relevant administrative tasks (including inventory counts)

Some of the skills required:

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience in a customer centric workplace
  • Exposure to warehouse inventory activities
  • A full, unrestricted Australian drivers license
  • Good written, verbal communication and computer skills
  • Attention to detail
