THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planning Analyst to manage daily demand planning and support analytical requests using your technical reporting and data analysis skills.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate forecasts, supporting business decisions, maintaining master data and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute demand planning and forecasting for a portfolio of platinum customers.
- Leverage strong analytical skills to develop and maintain automated forecasting and inventory optimisation models.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to manage inputs and review new parts, market intelligence, contracts, and promotions from both regional and product perspectives.
- Report on forecasting performance for NPI’s, contracts, promotions, and sales insights.
- Support the development of reports and input packs for S&OP meetings.
- Facilitate and conduct S&OP meetings.
- Develop models to improve forecast accuracy and service levels, reducing stock-outs.
- Monitor market fluctuations and anticipate demand trends with a focus on product categories.
- Provide training, coaching, and education to team members and stakeholders on the utilisation of Python.
Skills & Experience:
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Strong interest or prior experience in demand planning.
- Advanced analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, DAX, and Power BI and Python.
- Competent in PowerPoint for presentations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills.
