About BG&E

BG&E is a consulting engineering firm with over 50 years of recognised excellence in engineering. Our teams operate from offices located in major Australian capital cities, the Middle East, Singapore, London, and Auckland.

When you join BG&E, you join a proudly employee-owned firm that values curiosity, bravery, and trust which we believe is key to creating extraordinary built environments.

About the role:

This true P&C generalist role will see you providing end to end P&C support, advice and guidance (including some recruitment) to managers and employees in our 50+ person London office. You will also provide some support to BG&E’s small Abu Dhabi office.

You will also support these offices through cyclical people related processes such as the annual performance and remuneration cycle and work on a number of P&C projects in line with the P&C strategy.

This role offers significant autonomy as the sole P&C representative in London, making it ideal for self-driven individuals. While you'll be the primary point person locally, you'll also benefit from the backing and guidance of our broader P&C team based in Australia, ensuring support is readily available whenever needed.

About You:

You will hold a tertiary level qualification in Human Resources or a related field and will have 5 - 7 years or equivalent experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a professional services environment. At the forefront of your skillset you will bring strong HR technical knowledge and experience.

Facilitation experience though not essential will be highly regarded as will Workplace Health & Safety exposure.

You will be someone who enjoys being hands on and who has the initiative and capability to develop or improve existing processes. You will be commercially savvy with the capability to balance people and business outcomes.

Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong customer service and delivery focus with strong attention to detail will round out your experience set and see you as an outstanding candidate for this position.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
