We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administrative Officer to join our Administrative Operations team based in Preston.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, providing reception, administrative and business support across the Northern region.
You will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and stakeholders, delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient service while supporting a broad range of operational and administrative activities.
- Preston Office, on Wurundjeri Country
- Part time (3 days a week), Permanent role
- Base salary $68k pa + Super & Salary Packaging (pro rata)
The Opportunity

- Play a key frontline role managing reception, phone enquiries and visitor experience
- Provide high-quality administrative, financial and operational support to regional teams
- Manage processes including data entry, database maintenance, invoice processing and document formatting
- Support office operations including purchasing, mail coordination, travel bookings and event logistics
- Contribute to a collaborative administration team and help improve systems and processes
- Work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same

About You
You are a proactive and adaptable administrative professional who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.
You will bring:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with a diverse range of people
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proven administrative experience, including working with databases and Microsoft Office applications
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging or high-pressure situations
- Experience in community services or a not-for-profit environment is desirable but not essential.
