The Strategy Office guides and drives Berry Street Yooralla’s strategic direction through planning, data-driven insights, and delivery of key initiatives including merger integration and business growth.

About the Roles
Senior Project Manager
- Full time, Permanent role
- Competitive salary + Salary packaging
As a senior member of the Strategy, Technology and Analytics team, the Senior Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of complex projects across service delivery, technology, and organisational change. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to drive strategic priorities, embed sustainable change, and represent the PMO in executive forums when required. You’ll apply hands-on expertise in project management, change management, and business analysis, while building strong relationships across the organisation. Experience in establishing a PMO and providing portfolio level governance and mentoring will be highly regarded.
Project Manager
- Full time, Fixed term (18 months)
- Competitive salary + Salary packaging
This role will lead the delivery of assigned projects and supporting the implementation of service models and operational imperatives aligned to the Strategy Office’s priorities, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. The Project Manager works collaboratively across Berry Street Yooralla to drive effective delivery and embed change, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to foster alignment and commitment.
About You
Senior Project Manager
You are a strategic and experienced project leader who thrives in complex environments and brings a delivery-focused mindset. You will have:
- A Bachelor-level qualification in project management, business, human services or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience managing end-to-end delivery of complex projects.
- Experience in designing, establishing or maturing a Project Management Office (PMO).
- Experience providing portfolio level oversight and contributing to enterprise-wide governance and priortisation.
- Proven ability to lead projects across services, technology, or organisational change.
- Strong skills in business analysis and change management.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit, social services, or disability sectors highly desirable.
- High-level stakeholder engagement skills across operational and executive levels.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in agile and/or waterfall project delivery environments.
- You are confident in taking the lead and driving initiatives throughout the organisation.
- Must have non IT project management experience.
Project Manager
You will have proven experience leading the implementation of programs and projects. You are a project professional with a passion for engaging stakeholders, embedding change and contributing to meaningful work. You will bring:
- A Diploma or Bachelor level qualification in project management, business, human services or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in project delivery roles, including managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit, social services, or disability sectors highly desirable.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across teams.
- Exposure to agile or waterfall project environments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Must have non IT project management experience.
