Take Two is a trauma-informed, intensive therapeutic service delivered by Berry Street Yooralla. It supports infants, children, young people, and families who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse, and who often face disrupted attachment and developmental challenges.
Take Two’s mission is to repair the harmful impacts of trauma and improve emotional health, relationships, and developmental outcomes. The program works not only with the child but also with their caregivers, families, and communities to build understanding and healing.
A key feature of Take Two is its use of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics —a neuroscience-informed framework that guides assessment and treatment planning. This model helps clinicians understand how trauma has affected a child’s brain development and determine the most appropriate interventions.
