The opportunity
Berry Street’s Kinship Care Service is part of the South East Victoria Home Based Care Program and is designed to accommodate all kinship arrangements.
The service is tiered and provides an information and advice phone line, family services outreach service and Child Protection contracted case management.
Key Responsibilities
The Kinship Care Case Manager will be responsible for all facets of service delivery including case management and family services intervention, and interaction with Child Protection and other government program areas and local community services. Workers will also be expected to facilitate forums and provide community and professional education to service users.
This role will be case managing families in the outer Gippsland region from Sale onwards
About you
A minimum Diploma qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work or related field is required for this role.
Experience in the provision of case management and case work services to young people and families in out of home care is an advantage.
