The Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly capable Senior Technical Delivery Lead to guide a major identity transformation program. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of security architecture, vendor management and strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical counterpart to our external delivery partner.
- Coordinate discovery activities and ensure the right internal stakeholders are engaged.
- Drive progress where requirements are evolving or not fully defined.
- Monitor vendor delivery quality, cadence, and alignment with organisational priorities.
- Prioritise and manage project scope and delivery in partnership with the delivery partner.
- Interpret architecture designs across identity, infrastructure, and applications to inform decisions.
- Ensure identity design choices consider impacts across cybersecurity, infrastructure, platforms, applications, and business domains.
- Coordinate and facilitate technical and operational decisions throughout the project.
- Support transition planning from implementation to steady‑state operations.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business, from frontline staff to senior leaders.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable outcomes for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Support workshops, decision forums, and discovery activities with confidence and clarity.
About You
- Strong understanding and experience of identity architecture, IAM platforms, authentication/authorisation patterns, and integration approaches.
- Experience working across hybrid environments (cloud + on‑prem), including JML processes and legacy system constraints.
- Ability to interpret architecture diagrams and translate them into practical design and delivery decisions.
- Confident engaging with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application owners, business leaders, and external partners.
- Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable navigating organisational ambiguity.
