We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud to provide strategic and operational leadership of our IT infrastructure and cloud environments.

Reporting to the Director, IT Operations and Applications, this senior leadership role ensures infrastructure platforms are secure, reliable, resilient and cost‑effective, while leading modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives that support contemporary, person‑centred service delivery.

This role is critical to enabling Berry Street Yooralla’s digital strategy, supporting continuity of essential services, strong governance, cyber security and compliance, and the development of a capable, high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud, you will:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership of on‑premises, cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Lead infrastructure modernisation and cloud transformation aligned to organisational strategy and future service models.
  • Ensure stable IT operations through effective incident, problem, change and capacity management.
  • Oversee cyber security, risk, compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.
  • Lead, develop and support a high‑performing infrastructure and cloud team, with a focus on capability and wellbeing.
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor, managing vendors, budgets and stakeholder relationships to deliver effective technology outcomes.

About you

You’re a confident and approachable senior leader who builds trust quickly and communicates clearly at all levels. You navigate complexity with sound judgement, balance competing priorities calmly, and bring people with you through change.

You will bring:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Strong technical expertise across infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, virtualisation) and cloud architecture and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing complex environments and delivering large‑scale technology initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of cyber security principles, risk management and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and competing priorities.
  • Bachelor qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Leadership or project management credentials (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Minimum 10 years’ IT experience, including at least 5 years in people leadership roles.
