We're looking for someone to lead the financial transformation and integration in our newly merged organisation.

As a Manager Financial Accounting and Reporting you will manage our financial accounting team and oversee deliverables in a timely manner. You'll have direct responsibility for ensuring financial consistency and efficiency across our organisation.

Your value add: 

  • A unique opportunity to shape financial operations in a newly merged entity, streamlining systems and embedding best practices.
  • Refine processes, optimise workflows, and champion efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Lead financial accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while mentoring staff and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive financial integrity, oversee month-end and year-end processes, and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Implement robust financial controls, manage taxation obligations, and oversee government fund acquittals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical accounting advice and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

We’re looking for someone experienced in:

  • Financial accounting and reporting, including leadership to staff
  • Driving financial system integration projects.
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Sound technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
