The Opportunity

This role is responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality government tenders and grant submissions across child, youth, family and disability services. You’ll take ownership of writing compelling and tailored proposals that align with our strategic priorities, reflect real service capacity, and help secure funding that enables meaningful change. You’ll also maintain a forward-looking pipeline of opportunities and contribute to shaping business cases and funding strategies for future service growth.

The role reports to the Head of Strategy Office and sits within a highly collaborative and purpose-driven team. You’ll work closely with program leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to craft submissions that are not only persuasive but also grounded in evidence, insight and impact.

About you

We are seeking a confident writer and strategic thinker with a strong track record in delivering successful submissions. You enjoy managing complex content, collaborating across teams, and producing work that is high-quality, timely, and impactful.

 We’re looking for someone experienced in:

  • Writing and coordinating high-level government tenders and grant submissions
  • Translating complex service models and strategic goals into compelling proposals
  • Building relationships across teams to gather content and input
  • Maintaining a proactive funding pipeline and scanning the external environment
  • Contributing to business cases and feasibility assessments
  • Managing submission timelines, internal processes and continuous improvement
