The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor, Risk & Assurance to join our Quality, Risk & Safeguarding team. Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in embedding our Risk Management Framework across all service streams and corporate functions. This position is integral to driving compliance excellence, continuous improvement, and organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed and maintain the Risk Management Framework across the organisation.
  • Monitor and report on risk trends, compliance, and emerging issues.
  • Lead strategic projects, including business continuity planning and policy development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external regulators.
  • Promote a proactive risk management culture.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills, enabling you to drive high-impact projects and implement systems that deliver meaningful outcomes. You will need to be able to confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

  • Tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Law, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk, compliance, or governance roles within the human services sector.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience implementing systems aligned with ISO standards.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in producing high-quality reports and governance documentation
