Bene Aged Care is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at the Campbelltown Residential Facility on a part-time basis.

About Your Role

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will design and deliver engaging individual and group activities to support residents’ emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning and facilitating lifestyle programs based on individual needs
  • Supporting new residents as they settle into the home
  • Documenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities
  • Advocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requests
  • Maintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and policies
  • Assisting with evaluation of residents’ wellbeing and providing updates to nursing staff
  • Contributing to safe, respectful, and enjoyable living environments

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • National Police Certificate (current or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling training
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Understanding of aged care issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work respectfully in a diverse, team-based setting
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Certificate III or IV in Aged Care

Desirable:

  • Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential)
