Registered Nurse (Night Only)

Bene Aged Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Night Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at our St Clair Residential Facility on a permanent part-time basis.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care overnight, ensuring residents receive compassionate, person-centred support in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred nursing care
• Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to clinical needs during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Manage wound care and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Provide leadership, guidance and clinical oversight to care staff on duty
• Support and mentor Care Workers to maintain quality care standards
• Foster a calm, safe and respectful environment for residents overnight
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team to ensure continuity of care and positive resident outcomes

Roster

This permanent part-time position offers a consistent overnight roster with shifts from 11:00pm to 7:15am:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical environment
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering respectful, person-centred care
• Ability to work independently and confidently during night shifts
• Current National Police Check
• Current First Aid and Manual Handling certificates

Desirable

• Italian language skills (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience working with older people living with dementia and complex care needs
