Registered Nurse - Morrie Evans Wing (Residential Aged Care)

Position: Registered Nurse Grade 2

Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time

Hours: 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 EFT)

Classification: RN Grade 2 Year 1-8

Benalla Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in Morrie Evans Wing. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Conducting clinical assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Monitoring resident health and respond appropriately to clinical deterioration.
  • Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively.
  • Participating in clinical handovers, safety initiatives and risk management activities.
  • Supporting and mentor students, graduates and less experienced staff.
  • Contributing to quality improvement and accreditation activities.
  • Promoting resident rights, dignity, choice and independence.
