Benalla Health is excited to announce an Occupational Therapist position available within the Community Rehabilitation Centre.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Occupational Therapist to join our team at Benalla Health to cover a maternity leave position

This position involves contributing to patient care by providing occupational therapy services to inpatients on the acute ward, community health and complex care clients in the community setting - depending on clinical need and workload capacity.

This role reports directly to the Manager of Community Rehabilitation and works with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and other allied health professionals.

The role includes:

• Occupational therapy services in acute and community settings
• Working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to a creative, productive and safe environment for patients, clients, visitors and staff

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Relevant Bachelor degree and current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in Community Health or other equivalent field.
• Experience in provision of Occupational Therapy services in relevant clinical settings.
• Proven ability to work effectively independently and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
