Medical Accounts Coordinator

The Opportunity

The Medical Accounts Coordinator (MAC) performs a wide range of administrative tasks to assist in the functioning of an efficient and effective organisation. The MAC is responsible for the administrative function to ensure Private Patient and Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) payments are provided in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all relevant documentation and data entry is completed as soon as practicable meeting both internal and external deadlines. This position will be responsible for banking, preparing payments, statements, reconciliation, and internal auditing as required.

This position amongst others is responsible for promoting Benalla Health as a quality sub regional health service provider. The goal is to promote and maintain good customer relations with patients/clients, health care providers, health insurance funds, Medicare and other hospital staff. This position will act as a key liaison point between BH and the local General Practitioners (GPs) and visiting specialists who operate at BH.

The Role is Permanent Part time (24 Hours per Week)
