Maternity Services Manager

The Opportunity (EFT - 0.8-1.0)

We're looking for a dedicated & experienced Maternity Services Manager to join our team. The role will provide clinical leadership and operational management of maternity services ensuring accessible, safe, high-quality, women-centred care, aligned with Safer Care Victorian standards.

 The position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and oversight of the redesigned Maternity Services model of care, including a transition to midwifery group practice (MGP), ensuring the continuity of care for women and their families. 

The position will: 

•            Lead the transition and sustainability of the model of care, including the MGP model.

•            Ensure adequate midwifery coverage and caseload allocation for continuity of care across antenatal, pregnancy assessment, birthing and postnatal care.

•            Monitor quality and safety, and clinical risk within the maternity services.

•            Support workforce planning, professional development and mentoring.
