What you’ll do
As a Tenant Review & Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring tenants have a strong voice in shaping our services and improving tenant experiences across Believe Housing Australia.
You’ll develop and support inclusive engagement strategies that encourage meaningful tenant participation in reviews, consultations and decision-making processes. By building positive relationships with tenants, internal teams and community partners, you’ll help strengthen collaboration, enhance service delivery and promote a tenant-centred approach across the organisation.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Developing and implementing tenant review frameworks, processes and systems that support genuine tenant involvement in decision-making.
- Coordinating and supporting tenant-led review groups, including meeting facilitation, training, service evaluation, data analysis and report writing.
- Strengthening tenant participation through consultations, surveys, focus groups, forums, community events and targeted engagement projects.
- Supporting tenant communication and engagement initiatives, including social media content, newsletters and tenant case studies to promote tenant voice and share outcomes.
- Using research and developing systems to monitor tenant feedback, performance data and outcomes to improve housing policies, procedures and services in line with best practice, legislation and the Tenant Voice Strategy.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in tenant engagement, community engagement or a similar role within the housing or community services sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Ability to analyse data, assess community needs, prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
We would also love you to have:
- Knowledge of housing policies, regulations and best practices within the social and affordable housing sector.
