About the Role:
The Health Care Worker role will contribute to providing and delivering of quality Person Centered Care under the directions of the Nurse Unit Manager and Registered Nurse and assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives in relation to residential aged care.
You will ensure that people accessing Beechworth Health Service will experience a person-centered approach with respect to their needs.
Provide Initial and ongoing assessment of the client/resident in collaboration with other personal care workers and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that an individualised plan of care is developed for the client/resident.
Liaise with managers and assist in problem solving to deal with issues as they arise.
Qualifications Required:
- Completed an approved TAFE course for Health Care Workers at a Certificate 3 or Higher, or completed an equivalent course at Certificate IV or higher
- Current First Aid Certificate - Level 2
- Food Safety Certificate
- Current NDIS Clearance or willing to obtain
- Completed Assist clients with medication unit (HLTHPS006)
