Why join us?

You’ll be part of a values-driven rural health service committed to excellence, collaboration and innovation. Your work directly supports high-quality care for our community, while giving you the chance to grow your leadership capability in a supportive environment.

We celebrate diversity, champion inclusion and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQI+ communities, people with disability and anyone who wants to bring their unique strengths to our team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll coordinate and support day-to-day operations across cleaning, laundry, waste management and stores. Your leadership helps ensure our facilities are clean, safe and functioning at their best. You’ll coach and supervise staff, prepare rosters, manage workflow, support training, maintain standards and help drive continuous improvement.

Your calm presence and practical approach will be invaluable when responding to emerging issues, supporting emergency procedures and ensuring essential services continue smoothly.

What you bring

  • Experience in cleaning, environmental services, support services or similar operational settings
  • Confidence in supervising staff, supporting capability and coordinating daily work
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, hygiene, waste management and safe work practices
  • Strong organisational skills and a knack for problem-solving
  • A collaborative style and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
  • A commitment to the values of respect, integrity, excellence and trust
  • Experience in health, aged care or community services is welcomed but not essential.

Why this role matters

You’re part of the backbone that keeps our health service functioning. Without the work of our essential services team, high-quality care simply isn’t possible. Your contribution supports a clean, safe and comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
