We are looking for a suitably qualified part-time Dietitian to join our team. This is a 12 month Parental Leave backfill position for 5 days per fortnight.

About the Role

The Dietitian role will contribute to the health and wellbeing of residents, inpatients and community members by providing assessment, nutritional advice and education for a wide range of dietary issues.

About You:

Essential:

  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Accreditation with the Dietitian Association of Australia as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian or eligible to become a member of the Dietitian Association of Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team across diverse programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as a sole practitioner.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating group activities as well as individual client work.
  • Ability to apply computers skills to a wide variety of programs. Eg. Food analysis software, medical software and databases.
  • Current drivers licence.

Desirable:

  • Community-based health or equivalent experience.
  • Aged Care based health or equivalent experience.
