About the Role:

As the Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator you will contribute to managing and maintaining the infection prevention and control program and staff health management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the leadership of quality and improvement at BHS
  • Develop an annual infection prevention and control plan consistent with our strategic plan.
  • Maintaining and managing the fit testing program
  • lead the immunisation program for aged care
  • oversight of infection and prevention principles for building and renovation work.
  • Management of ANTT Program.
  • Oversight of clinical waste management and support of cleaning service delivery

About You:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum qualification of Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC) for Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years post graduation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing projects.
  • Demonstrated Experience in delivering training and education.
