Applicants are sought for Permanent full-time employment as a Head Chef. This role consists of assisting with catering in an acute and residential aged care services at Beechworth Health Service.

About the Role:
Effectively and efficiently provide the safe preparation of food and cleaning tasks that are of a high standard for all residents, visitors, clients and staff at BHS whilst at all times ensuring that safe work practices are strictly adhered to.
What You'll Bring:
You're a reliable, experienced Chef, ideally with experience in Aged Care or similar, with a can do attitude and compassionate nature.
To Thrive in this role, you will have:
- Formal chef/cooking qualifications with a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Current Food Handling certificate.
- Accreditation in a recognised Food Safety and Occupational Hygiene course.
- Previous experience managing kitchen/pantry staff; including day to day supervision and rostering.
- Previous experience managing contracts, ordering and stock control for a large commercial kitchen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef in a health service or residential aged care facility.
- Experience with Chefmax menu system or similar menu management software
- Financial Management / budget experience.
- First aid certificate
